A Coruna is a natural balcony from which one can contemplate the magical sunsets as reflected on the majestic Atlantic Ocean. It is a historical city reached by the very Julius Caesar, A Coruna is a city doomed to sea, as evidenced by the imposing figure of one of its symbols: the lighthouse called The Tower of Hercules, original century AD II.

The importance of the Galician capital as commercial epicenter of the Iberian Peninsula is reflected in its spectacular harbor. La Torre de Hércules.
It is one of the roman lighthouse in operation more ancient in the world. It is situated between the Orzan inlet and the gulf Artabro. It dates back to Trajano´s time on the II a.C and it was refurbished in 1788 ordered by Carlos IV. It is 68 metres and the light it gives off can be seen from around 32 milles. You have to climb a total of 242 steps to reach the top of the lighthouse, but the effort is well worthwhile for its magnificent views of the city of A Coruña and its coastline. According to roman mitology, Hercules cut off Gerion´s head y he built this monument after bury his mortal remains.

DOMUS. CASA DEL HOMBRE
This is the first interactive museum in the world devoted to the human being. Located in a spectacular building designed by the Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, this museum aims to entertain visitors by stimulating their curiosity. Through its variety of exhibits, different features of the human species are revealed, such as I (identity), We (demography), the Senses, the Heart, the Motor System, the Brain, Skills and Language. There are almost 200 modules, most of which are interactive, in which a mechanism has to be activated for them to be understood. A reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's "La Gioconda" (better known as the "Mona Lisa") is made up of over 10,000 photos of people. The building has an IMAX projection room.
